I am a 3rd year PhD student at Inria in the ExSitu group supervised by Fanis Tsandilas and Wendy Mackay. I am working for my thesis on the fabrication of interactive materials. Creating tangible user interfaces with personal fabrication tools is still challenging and most often requires the artist to add interactive components in a subsequent step after fabricating a model. My work focuses on creating materials that seamlessly integrate into a model without changing its affordance, shape and haptics. I mainly worked on stretchable silicone interfaces and self-aware materials for interactive fabrication so far. Currently, I am looking for a Post-Doc position.
